Moving out in the World
Geri's talent has taken her works of art to different places of the world. Her painting of the Inuit Drum Dancer was given as a gift to the mayor of Manila in the Philippines by the Mayor of Winnipeg, Sam Katz, as seen in the picture in the top left corner. This was a huge honor for both the painting and Geri alike.
Geri has contributed several years of volunteer work with Gateway Christian Community Church. Every year the church puts on a christmas production called Bethlehem Live. Upto 5,000 people pass through it's doors every year. Geri has supervised the artistic work including painting props, backdrops and set displays. She was also featured on the front page of a local newspaper covering a story about Bethlehem Live.
