Featured Artist Bio
The featured Artist is a born and raised Winnipegger. She has always enjoyed art and in her late 30's she decided to study it more seriously when she met Geri at a retreat in 2004. Geri agreed to "mentor" her and the two ladies met on a regular basis to paint in a small art studio in the upstairs of Geri`s home. Geri helped to inspire her and encouraged her to start big. Her first painting, that of an eagle, was on a large poster paper shown here on the web page. She has also painted a portrait of her son, a lake scene and the lion featured on this page as well.
