This summer Jessica and her family traveled across Asia for two months, from July 1, 2009 to August 28, 2009.

Jessica's brother Jamie taught English in Japan from June 2008 to June 2009. Jessica's intention was to meet up with her brother once his contract was finished at the end of June 2009; the two of them would then travel Asia together.

Jessica's mother Nina asked if her daughter and son would mind if she came along on the trip. Once the children realized that their mother would probably cover some of the costs, and that if they didn't allow her to come they would never hear the end of it, they decided it should be a family affair. Nina was briefed that this would be quite an intense trip and that there would be no whining allowed. Once the dates of the trip were settled, the planning began.

They travelled thru Japan, China, India, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and had a day stopover in Seoul, Korea. This website will serve as a space to share pictures and experiences from this trip of a lifetime.
