Welcome
I love being in the kitchen too. It’s more than just cooking. There are the different foods and wines, the tools and gadgets, the creating and experimenting….It is like taking the tool bench out of the basement. If I would buy a house, I wanted to have a huge kitchen so that I could have a bigger place to cook. I love every item in the kitchen, kitchen gadgets, stove, utensils, casseroles, frying pans. Sometimes I spent lots of time going to the mall to look for some new stuff I can use for cooking. Recipes that I usually cook are all Filipinos. I can also do some Chinese, Italian and North American recipes. I can prepare my own recipes with some secret ingredients. I could experiment a 30-minute recipe that will suit working people like moms. I was alone when I came here in Winnipeg in 2002. It is a good thing I really know how to cook because I can prepare my own meals at home, enjoy every minute of cooking and being able to taste my finished product. As you glance through my website, you will be able to learn simple cooking recipes, Filipino foods like egg rolls, pancit (fancy noodles), Eggplant Omelet, Kare-kare (beef stew), Lechon (roasted pork) and more. I will show you how to prepare desserts like Coconut with Pandan-flavoured jelly, Fruit Cocktail Salad and Leche Flan (Custard Cake). |
