Back to Home Read our latest newsletter Contact us What would you do if this was your family? Here is our team with a group of 54 orphans in Rwanda. Well, to be honest, not all of them are orphans. Some of them have a mother, but their father has left them, or one parent has died, or they are just too poor to be able to afford the necessities of life and the luxury of being able to go to school. Well, you get the picture…. We have met these children. We have played and sung and laughed with them. In some cases, we have been in their homes and met their families. That makes it personal. We, as a team, have agreed to find sponsors for these kids. Could you consider sponsoring one of these kids? To sponsor a child costs $28.00 a month (USD – which is a bargain these days!) Jean Pierre Ndagijimana (fondly known as JP) is a highly talented musician and songwriter. We have played together on several occasions in Rwanda, and I have greatly appreciated his skill on keyboards, bass, and guitar. He is the director and technician of the new studio and has released this, his first solo CD, titled “Niwe Gusa” (“Only Him”). This CD contains 6 songs, all written and arranged by JP, sung in a mixture of Kinyarwanda (the local language) French, and English. Copies are available on a donation basis. 100% of any donation will be passed on to the ministry in Rwanda. If you would like a copy, contact us at the link at the left.
