The origins of Samantha’s creativity go back to her childhood, but photography is a medium awakened with the birth of her first daughter in 2002.</p> <p>Previously owning many cameras and experimenting, she eventually came to own a Minolta Maxxum HTsi plus. She was thrilled, and thoroughly enjoyed using her new equipment. When her daughter was born the pictures continued, but as her daughter began to grow, she noticed all the little things that her daughter brought to her attention, things she had been overlooking. It was like a door had opened and Samantha was beginning to see new things all around her. They had been there all along but now they were being seen in a new light, and inspiration struck. She looks forward to many more explorations and adventures along the way.</p> <p>Samantha is currently using a Canon EOS Digital Rebel xti 400D, acquired in early 2007, and is thoroughly enjoying it. The newest developments for Samantha is her upcoming show at Forbidden Flavours expected in February 2008, and a spring show in March 2008 where she expects to gain a lot of new interest in her work.</p> <p>Being a hobby photographer with no studio she finds a need to have a presence on the web for inquiries about the type of work she does, products, and information about where her art can be seen, as well as a current gallery.</p> <p> <a name="Deep Thoughts or maybe not"<h3>Deep Thoughts or maybe not</h3> </p> <p>Here is where I plan on doing something along the lines of a blog if you will but probably less often at least in the beginning, it will include stories about my explorations, things I have learned, or things I am looking forward to doing in the near future.
