Granted that graphic and web development professional will still want to have Photoshop in their toolbox, many free online sites offer a very passable alternative. At least for those on a budget or just starting out.
Many of them look and work similar to Photoshop, but lack advanced features. Though it lacks those advanced features, it does contain layers, gradients, and the shape tools to help you get started. Create a new image from scratch or upload your own from your computer. When you’re done, simply save it to your computer or any major image sharing website.
Our goal is to use one of these free online sites to take an image of a group of people and crop out each of their heads so that we may include them in a biography style webpage.
After you have the heads cropped you will create an original graphic to be used as the header for the page.
