Oatmeal Raisin Cookies:

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup Granulated White Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar (Packed)
  • 1/2 cup Margarine or Butter (Softened)
  • 1/2 tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pc. Egg
  • 3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 cup Quick Cooking Rolled Oats/li>
  • 1/2 cup Raisins
  • 1/2 cup Optional: Walnuts, Pecans or Pine Nuts (Chopped)
Baking Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  2. Place a parchment paper on the cookie sheet and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the brown and granulated sugar, margarine until light and fluffy. Add Vanilla and the Egg, blend well until fully combined.
  4. Mix in the remaining dry inqrendients: Flour, Baking Soda, Salt, Oats and Raisins.
  5. Use a spoon to drop the mixture to the baking sheets. Place each cookie 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 7 to 8 inches until light golden brown in the edges.
  7. Let it stand for 5 minutes before moving it to a tight container.

  • Dry Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Parchment Paper
Preparation Time: 45 Minutes
Yields: 2 to 3 1/2 Dozen
Altitude Change: Increase Flour to 1 cup.
