About Alpha Gamma Delta |

| Since its' founding, collegiate chapters have been installed in 182 colleges and universities across Canada and the United States and more than 145,000 women have become members of Alpha Gamma Delta. There are over 250 alumnae chapters/clubs and these numbers make AGD the largest female fraternity in North America. | |||

The installation of Tau chapter at the University of Toronto in 1919 also made AGD the first international womens's fraternity. The Beta Gamma chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta was installed at the University of Manitoba on May 19, 1930 and since this time nearly 700 women from the Universities of Manitoba and Winnipeg have joined the sisterhood. |
