This painting represents some of the different things that can captivate us and draw us away from our journey with the Lord. These "temptations" are all kind of wrapped in a "smokescreen" which represents the "blinders" we all seem to wear when it comes to our own shortcomings and downfalls. It reminds me of the scripture that says "we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God".
